Miss Bertha Sidener died at the home of Harry Palmer on West Pike Street, Sunday afternoon after a long illness of consumption at the age of 20 years. The funeral occurred from the Trinity ME Church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Davis officiating. Miss Sidener was the adopted daughter of the late HE Sidener. She was a most estimable young lady and very popular with the young people of the city with whom she was quite a favorite - transcribed by kbz

The many friends of Miss Bertha Sidener are pained to learn of her death, which occurred Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Palmer, on West Pike Street.
The funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Trinity M. E. Church, the services being conducted by the Rev. Mr. Davis. Interment was at Masonic Cemetery.
Miss Sidener was twenty years of age on October 26 and was the adopted daughter of the late H. E. Sidener. She was a most estimable young lady and was quite popular in the city. Her disease was consumption and she had been declining for several months -s
